Home Tour Reveal Part 1

Welcome to "Part 1" of Our Home Tour!  Come on in and take a look.  Stay tuned for Part 2 of 3 next week.  Our house isn't even that big for a 3 part reveal but by the time I get ideal lighting and take a picture that's to my liking the twins wake up from their nap and all H-E-double hockey sticks breaks loose.

Our house (also known as "Cupcake").  This picture was taken the month we moved in.  We've made a few updates to the landscaping since then.

Here's the Living Room.  For the last 4 years we've used this space as a formal living room and hardly ever use it. When the renovation started we moved our sectional from the family room in here.  We're kind of loving it - its such a bright and airy room.  The hubs and I are in agreement that this will become our permanent family room once the renovation is completed.  However, we'll need to find an inconspicuous home for the gigantic flatscreen and buy some new move some furniture around.  Just add it to the list... yeah, I should start a list.

Enter the Dining Room.  The only update made to this room was the chandelier.  Its made by Restoration Hardware but I found it on ebay for 1/3 of the retail price - she shoots...she SCORES!  Eventually I would like to add some wainscoting, remove the wallpaper, paint the walls a light teal and add some drapes. the list...WHERE'S THE LIST!

And here is the Laundry Room.  You can see more pictures and updates made to this space here.

This is the hallway and stairs that lead to the second floor and are currently in the process of being remodeled.  Click here to see the progress.

Here we are in the Master Bedroom on the second floor at the back of the house.  Currently in the process of being remodeled.  Click here to see the progress.

And the Master "Bathroom" which is part of the same remodel.  Click here to see the progress.

Tune in next week for the Kitchen, Downstairs Bathroom, Guest Room & Front Porch reveal.  And at some point after the renovation dust settles I'll reveal the Twin's Bedroom and Bathroom make-over and the Backyard Patio.

Hope you enjoyed your visit.  Write me a comment if you have any questions about where any of the furniture, rugs or decor is from.  I'll be happy to reply.  Come back soon!!

I always want to do some kind of grand remodel, but I'm too chicken to try, haha.

Thanks so much for allowing us for the ride of your remodel. Can't wait to see the coming posts!
