Does anyone out there enjoy staying at hotels as much as I do? The number one criteria in choosing a hotel for me is what the bed situation is. I LOVE walking into a nice hotel room and seeing a big, fluffy and comfy bed. It screams relaxation (is that an oxymoron)?
I'm in the process of choosing some new bedding for the master bedroom. I want to create that relaxing hotel experience that makes you just want to hang out in bed all day (not that those days exist in my world with 2 year old twin toddlers running around but a girl can dream... no pun.)

sigh... don't you just want to nestle yourself in there on a nice cozy night?
Here are the top 4 comfy bed must haves "according to Lo".
#1 An actual piece of bed furniture. We're not in college anymore where a mattress on a bed frame is acceptable (this is a conversation I had with my husband about a month ago)
#2 White linens. They are just so crisp and clean and simply put "heavenly." There's enough "noise" throughout the day. I don't need "noisy" bright colored, patterned or floral sheets. Going to bed in a sea of white will cleanse the soul... in my opinion
#3 A big and fluffy duvet
And most importantly, #4 Pillows. Pillows are essential. The puffier the better. All shapes and sizes are a must. And yes, I am one of those girls who thinks a proper bed has six to eight pillows... at least - not including cute toss pillows that you are not allowed to lie on (similar to those guest towels in the downstairs bathroom).

I'm leaning towards a classic navy and white scenario... thinking it will pair nicely with my new "Quiet Moments" walls. Which is your fav?
Just stopped by to let you know that I featured your wine cork art piece on my round tuit post this week!

It's funny I found your site I'm redoing my master bedroom and went for hotel style bedding also. I already had a down white comforter so found a inexpensive duvet cover and shams at Target that is white with a gray designed trim. Also have the matching sheets, plain white sheets and a light gray set. I accented it with white and turquoise pillows. I have a upholstered headboard already but wish I would have gotten gray instead of brown. At the time I ordered it my room was blue and brown. Great starting point and can't wait to see your room come together:).
