EAT

A friend of mine is in the process of launching her very own dessert business and asked if she could use our kitchen for a photo shoot to showcase her decadent treats.  Needles to say, I was very flattered.  The shoot is next week so I want to spruce the place up a bit.  I decided to put my spray painting skills to test to make a little kitchen letter sign.

I'll find a new home for this piece since it was a wedding gift and has sentimental value.  I'm pretty sure they are the Chinese symbols for LOVE... but I'm no expert.

I picked up these letters for $3 each and a can of red spray paint from Michael's Craft Store.  I know what these letters mean since I AM an expert in eating!

About 5 minutes later they were done!  I admit, I initially panicked with the shade of red I chose because while still wet in the natural light the letters looked quite neon!



But alas, they dried to the perfect shade of candy apple red just as the name on the can promised.

 I'm kind of digging them!  And did you know the color red actually makes you hungry??
