Hi, I'm Lo! Welcome to A Lo and Behold Life - a lifestyle blog about all things that make my house a home.  When I look back on my childhood I remember the sights, sounds and smells of events and the people I shared them with.  I love the little details that bring life to everyday experiences because my best experiences will always be my best memories.  That is how this blog was born. My mission for this blog is to create a space to share what inspires me and in turn hopefully inspire you!

A few things to get you acquainted with me and A Lo and Behold Life...

I was born and raised in Boston. I do not have the infamous "Boston Accent" but I have been known to say, "wicked awesome" on occasion. My name is Lauren but to family and friends I am known as "Lo".  I grew up loving the East Coast with all it's charm and history, and I thought I would never leave. When I was 28 I met the love of my life and even though he was a Boston boy Lo and Behold we were moving to Southern California!  I gotta say it's wicked awesome...

In 2008 Andy and I got married.  You'll hear a lot about him on this blog.  Not only is he an amazing husband but Lo and Behold the man has skills with power tools!  He is the muscle behind building the creative visions that dance around in my head, and yes I take full credit for his new woodworking obsession hobby.

Two years later we started our family.  Lo and Behold - It's TWINS!  Yes, we were shocked.  While Andy went catatonic for a day I relished in what would be the next greatest experience of my life... being a mom.  You'll also hear a little about what Ben & Ty are up to (or should I say "getting into")
